Superfoods

Superfoods are essential to a raw foods diet for many reasons. Because the raw food diet is such a detox diet, meaning that the body is contantly digesting food rapidly and eliminating it, it needs foods that will restore and rebuild the body as quickly as it eliminates. It also needs foods that are expansive in nature. According to the Body Ecology Diet, foods that are expansive in nature are foods that are fiery, open, relaxed, and active. Expansive foods are of a yang nature. CacaoCacao is an amazing antioxidant that is mystical in nature, extremely healing, and pleasant to the palette when prepared in delectable recipes. As a matter of fact, the first wheatgrass shot that I had I vomited all over myself. But wheatgrass is so cleansing for the body. It is important that you do not eat anything before you have a wheatgrass shot and I would only recommend have 1 to 2 oz at a time.At the Optimum Health Institute they have a wheatgrass regimen for their clients.
