The wonders of Coconut Oil
Coconut Oil is such a mystery. Did you know at one time movie popcorn was popped in coconut oil? That must have been some finger lickin good popcorn! But they banned it because they found that coconut oil contained high levels of saturated fat.
Using organic virgin coconut oil is the best for preparing raw foods and also for preparing inner beauty recipes for your skin. It actually raises good cholesterol and prevents wrinkles in the skin. The oil is rich in lauric acid (also found in breast milk which is why babies that are breast fed often do not get sick) which means it’s a great defense mechanism for the immune system acting as an antiviral, antifungal, and antibacterial agent against harmful microorganisms. It provides great protection for the liver in removing toxins which is wonderful for your inner beauty as the liver rules the skin, eyes, hair, and nails so when you wanna catch a man ladies, you better load up on the coconut oil.

The Wonders of Aloe
Aloe is a historical gem. It has been used by Cleopatra as skin and hair balms. And Alexander the Great used aloe to heal the wounds of his soldiers.
Aloe has a plethora of uses, applications, and healing abilities for the body. Aloe is widely know for its topical uses healing burns and skin wounds and acting as a sunblock for the skin.
To maintain the highest standards for maintaining aloe, the International Aloe Science Council (www.iasc.org) works diligently to maintain the highest standards of aloe on the consumer market.
Surprisingly aloe is sister companion to onions, leeks, asparagus, garlic, and tulips.
The many benefits for aloe are:
-it contains zine and zinc is a mineral that balances the hormones in your body so it offers support for the thyroid
-it contains beta carotene (the same thing in carrots) and Vitamin E
- it is good for digestion

Did you know that California has a commission for Avocados? That’s how crazy we are for avocados. This wondrous fruit vegetable (it’s a fruit vegetable because it has a seed inside) is another fatty food. Why are the foods rich in fats also what I call beauty foods? Makes you wonder……. But avocados contain omega-3 fatty acids and monosaturated fats
This is a cooling avocado soup that I love drink down when I need to cool off from a hot hot summer day.
Rich & Enticing Avocado Soup
1/2 Cucumber3 bunches of the darkest kale3 sprigs cilantro3 large avocados (it makes the soup creamy)Dulse flakesCoconut water1/2 cup organic sundried black olives1 pinch himalayan Sea salt3 second pour of agave nectar1 pinch cayenne pepper
Blend all the ingredients in a Vitamix blender until the soup is creamy except for one avocado, a sprig of cilantro, and the olives. If you need to make the soup creamier add more avocados. Chop up one avocado and the olives and throw them in the soup and garnish with a sprig of cilantro.
That's the beauty of raw foods!

Key Lime Pie Crust:3 C finely ground almonds4-5 fresh medjool dates2 T coconut oil1/2 tsp. sea salt
Filling:2 small ripe avocados1 banana1 C juice from key limes1/2 C mango chunks1/2 C agave nectar1/3 C coconut cream concentrate or oil1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
